Unfortunately there are people out there who use Disney Destinations for personal gain in an effort to gather your personal information. These Disney scams are aimed directly at the Disney enthusiast, and seem like great opportunities…until you look closer.
If you see a Facebook page or website promoting a giveaway trip to Walt Disney World , Disneyland or Disney Cruise Line, and the link doesn’t direct you to an official Disney owned site (all official pages will end in go.com), doesn’t have a Facebook verified logo check, or the destination name ends with a period or other punctuation it is a Disney scam page/site! Keep in mind also that one Disney Destination is not going to host a trip giveaway for another destination.
Protect yourself and your friends lists from these phishing scams. Don’t enter these giveaways, click on their links or share their posts. Instead report them to Facebook!
