I’m putting a personal spin on this weeks Disney Sidekicks theme for Wordless Wednesday. Rather than focusing on films and animation, I thought I would feature some of the amazing Walt Disney Imagineers who have so brilliantly shared the spotlight within the Walt Disney Company for the past half-century.
When I was at D23 in August I had the pleasure of meeting several of the people that I consider to be celebrities. I even had breakfast at The Anabella Hotel with Bob Gurr, which was quite possibly the highlight of my trip. I attended presentations and book signings, and asked questions constantly. These are my celebrities!
While I didn’t get to take a picture with everyone of them, here is small collection of images for you to enjoy. Not pictured, but still very much in my heart are Rolly Crump, Jason Surrell, Bruce Vaughn, Kathy Mangum and Asa Kalama. Alex Wright, you were hiding from me I swear!

Very cool. I had the privilege of meeting Richard Sherman at the Carnation Cafe and it was one of my biggest Disney Geek moments ever! Another time I talked with Tony Baxter and was quoted in the OC Register geeking out about it. Good times! 🙂
