Have you ever flown with an older infant or toddler? When the gate crew announced early boarding for parents with infants and toddlers, did you board and if so, how did that work out for you? If you are like me, you will never do it again. Sure it sounds great until you realize that you just signed up for an extra 30 or more minutes trying to keep a squirming, active new walker quiet and in their seat. Good luck with that!
For me, it’s the same with Extra Magic Morning Hours. Sure, the first time it sounds like a great idea! Mickey, are you telling me I can get up extra early and get a whole hour in the parks before the general, non-resort staying public can get in? Sign me up! Oh, but wait, you said the same thing to everyone staying on property…all 30,405 rooms? Exactly! By 11am, the park with the Extra Magic Morning Hours is slammed.
Unless you are a veteran Disney park attendee who plans on hopping from park to park riding as many rides as you can in the shortest amount of time, plan your park days around Extra Magic Morning Hours and avoid the crowds.
