Many families spend the day after Thanksgiving putting up their holiday and Christmas decorations so we thought today would be a great time to share so fun facts about the many decorations at the Walt Disney World Resort. Hopefully it will make putting up your Christmas tree seem like a much more manageable task.

There are 1,300 decorated trees throughout the Walt Disney World Resort property
15 miles of garland strung and 1,314 wreaths hung throughout the Walt Disney World Resort property
300,000 yards of ribbon and bows draping over Christmas trees across the World
8.5 million lights strung throughout Walt Disney World Resort
150 semi-trailer truckloads of decorations for 24 resorts, 4 theme parks, Downtown Disney and other locations

Born and raised in the great state of Texas, Angela spent every summer in Florida. Each year, on the way to her grandparent’s house, her parents would take her and her sister to Walt Disney World and she didn't stop when she became an adult. My precious family

A Disney fan from birth, I’ve made more than two dozen pilgrimages to my second home, Walt Disney World, with a handful of visits to Disneyland and Disney Cruise Line thrown in for good measure. Currently, I reside 1,162 miles from the World near Dallas, TX.

My usually willing, lifelong travel partner & husband is Chris, who’s Disney fandom is growing with every trip. Together we are raising two Disney-nuts-in-training: Connor and Logan. Connor’s passion of the moment is playing Sorcerer’s of the Magic Kingdom. Logan just wants to share your snack and ride it’s a small world.
