Congratulations to the following Academy Awards Nominees: Frozen, Saving Mr. Banks, Iron Man 3, Lone Ranger and Get a Horse!

Walt Disney Company Academy Awards Nominees are as follows:
Best Animated Feature Film of the Year – Frozen (Chris Buck, Jennifer Lee and Peter Del Vecho)
Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures: Original Song – Frozen for “Let It Go” (Music and Lyric by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez)
Best Animated Short Film – Get a Horse! (Lauren MacMullan and Dorothy McKim)
Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures: Original Score – Saving Mr. Banks (Thomas Newman)
Achievement in Visual Effects – Iron Man 3 (Christopher Townsend, Guy Williams, Erik Nash and Dan Sudick), and The Lone Ranger (Tim Alexander, Gary Brozenich, Edson Williams and John Frazier)
Achievement in Makeup and Hair Styling – The Lone Ranger (Joel Harlow and Gloria Pasqua-Casny)

My precious family

A Disney fan from birth, I’ve made more than two dozen pilgrimages to my second home, Walt Disney World, with a handful of visits to Disneyland and Disney Cruise Line thrown in for good measure. Currently, I reside 1,162 miles from the World near Dallas, TX.

My usually willing, lifelong travel partner & husband is Chris, who’s Disney fandom is growing with every trip. Together we are raising two Disney-nuts-in-training: Connor and Logan. Connor’s passion of the moment is playing Sorcerer’s of the Magic Kingdom. Logan just wants to share your snack and ride it’s a small world.

Besides moming and blogging, I’m is also a high school theatre teacher by day and Disney and Universal travel agent by night for Once Upon a Time Vacations.
